All working people!  LEARN TO PLAY THE WORLD'S MOST POPULAR CARD GAME.  Pat is starting a new beginning bridge class.  This 8 week series will start Thurs, Aug 19 at 7:30 pm.  Please contact the Barrington Bridge Club or Pat Banks at (323) 350-1135/Email: stephpat@att.net.  If anyone knows of someone wanting to learn the game, please let them know about the class. Barrington is again hosting the MS Charity Game on Sunday, Aug 8 at 12:30 pm.  Join us for a fun afternoon of lunch & dessert, bridge tips with Eddie Kantar and game with double master points and prizes.  All proceeds go to fight Multiple Sclerosis.  The donation is $50 per person, tax deductible.  Sign up at the club. The Sectional in the Club (STAC) starts Mon Aug 16th through the 22nd.  Come and win silver points. Pat's Monday 99'er game has been cancelled until further notice. On Sun Aug 22nd, the club is hosting the ProAm Swiss Team and Ice Cream Social game.  This is sponsored by the WLA Unit.  Each team will consist of two pro players and two amatur players.  During a match the pro's will play against the pro's and the am's will play together.  This should be a fun game but it needs the support of the players to make it a success.  Registration is at 5:30 pm and game at 6.  Sign up at the club.
