Attention all bridge players!!!!!! The overall winners of Friday's game were a very solid pair of truly pleasant gentlemen who have really made a statement here recently. Seymour(Margolis, that is) and Richard have become a force to be reckoned with recently. This time their game was a 63 plus percenter, which was not only 23 points above average, but a very healthy 10 points higher than the 2nd place finishers and close to 11 points higher than the 3rd place finishers in their direction. In the opposite direction, except for an infraction, there was a real "dog fight" between my pals Dave and Fran, and the lovely ladies, Fern and Barbara. Only .22 separated them from a tie with their 61 plus percenters, which were 24 points above average. Very well done all my friends!!!!! It appears that the JCC will be closed on Christmas Day, but I will ask the one in charge on Monday to make absolutely certain of the information which was given to me when I turned in my talley for the game.
